How do I change my SYNC® 4A connectivity settings?

Follow the steps below to change the connectivity settings in your SYNC 4A system.

  1. Tap the Vehicle Image at the top of your vehicle's SYNC 4A screen.
  2. Scroll down and select Connectivity.
  3. Toggle the sliders to the right to enable, or to the left to disable, the following:
    • Vehicle Connectivity
    • Share Vehicle Data
    • Share Vehicle Location
    • Share Driving Data
    • Share Vehicle Analytics
    • Speech Recognition Feedback (available on select models)
    • Feature Settings - Ford Assistant (subscription required, available on select models)

Important: Connectivity settings must be enabled in order for Ford app connected features to work. When disabled, a banner displays in the app.
